Google Maps, Its More Than Just Location

Where are you now? If you don't know then look at your Google Maps, you will get to know your current location. That's right. Google Maps has been very helpful if I say more than helpful to us. Because Google Maps has been providing outstanding services. But there are more. Google Maps can give you more. But you have to know it. This article is all about of some extra services that you can get from Google Maps. That will take your using level of Google Maps one step ahead.

Select from transport: 

There is a smart option of selecting your transport. If you are walking or driving or cycling you can tap on the right side of the screen and choose your transportation. If you set the transport with driving mode, you will see a symbol of car. Same like when when you are walking and cycling you can set the transport option by train or a cycle icon.

Public transit schedules:

 Google Maps has the option that can show you a wide range of public transition. Do not underestimate Google Maps. If you give a check into transit schedules you will get just a huge travel option. You can choose anything from the option. You can say it’s my favorite option. Here Google Maps will show you every schedules of takeoff, take on, departure etc. You can say its like a whole world just in front of you.

Think ahead: 

It can happen that you are going out of mobile data or even you are going out of the country. Where you can not get any access your Google Maps. So plan ahead, Google Maps lets you to save locations for offline use. So if you are going out of signal, search your planned locations in the icon you will see there are three dots. Here you will be able to save your location and see when you are offline.
Location Sharing: It’s also a good trick. Share location by emails, bluetoots or by uploading in Google drive. If you like to tap share then its fine. You can easily let people know your location by sharing.

Street view:

 Google Maps also gives you a great street view. Search the location you want. When you get the location you wanted, scroll down. Two images will show up. You will see street view. Tap on it. You will get the street view. It’s amazing.

Voice control:

 If you want to control the Google Maps by your voice, you can do it. You can command or ask. Just take your microphone to your mouth and ask Google Maps for location. You will get it. Especially when you command “mute” to Google Maps, It will mute.
